A working meeting on the joint prevention and control project of acquired immune deficiency syndrome (AIDS) in border areas of China's Guangxi Zhuang autonomous region and Vietnam was held both online and on-site in Fangchenggang, Guangxi on Sept 9.

As part of the 18th China-ASEAN Expo, the meeting was held by the Health Commission of Guangxi Zhuang Autonomous Region and gathered around 120 attendees from both China and Vietnam.

A memorandum of cooperation was signed among the Health Commission of Guangxi Zhuang Autonomous Region and the health departments of four Vietnamese provinces, namely Ha Giang, Cao Bang, Quang Ninh and Lang Son during the meeting.
