Guilin in Guangxi Zhuang autonomous region caught the eye of investors during the ongoing 18th China-ASEAN Expo in Nanning, signing 40 projects with an overall investment of 33.88 billion yuan ($5.26 billion).
The city is now striving to become an international tourism city, accelerating the revitalization of local industries and rural areas.
Guilin officials said during the fair that the city welcomes both domestic and overseas companies and investors from different sectors to carry out cooperation and communication with Guilin and the city will offer high-quality services to seek more development opportunities.
The projects signed during the 18th CAEXPO cover various sectors spanning high-end manufacturing, biomedicine, digital economy, light and textile industry, advanced new material, new energy, big health and modern logistics.
