A series of activities featuring the Regional Comprehensive Economic Partnership (RCEP) trade regulations will be held during the upcoming 18th China-ASEAN Expo (CAEXPO), which will be held in Nanning, capital of Guangxi Zhuang autonomous region, from Sept 10 to 13.

Being the biggest and most important free trade agreement in the Asian-Pacific region, the implentation of RCEP will help expand trade investment and cooperation between the Chinese mainland and other member countries, further leveraging Guangxi's position and role in both global and domestic regional economic cooperation.

A themed training program will be launched in Nanning for representatives from domestic small and medium-sized enterprises to help these companies learn more about RCEP.

The RCEP economic and trade cooperation summit will also take place in Nanning on Sept 10, providing a platform for guests from the industrial and commercial circles of member countries to carry out more communication and cooperation.

Attendees will attend the summit both online and on-site.

Initiated by the 10 ASEAN countries, RCEP was signed by all ASEAN countries as well as other countries including China, Japan, South Korea and Australia. It is aimed to cut tariff barriers and non-tariff barriers to form an integrated market.
