Hengzhou jasmine flowers have become the most valuable agricultural brand in Guangxi with an overall comprehensive brand value of 20.69 billion yuan ($3.2 billion).
In addition, the city is also the national production base of commodity grain and cane sugar, China's largest production base for agaricus bisporus and sweet corn, as well as one of Guangxi's largest silkworm production bases.
The e-commerce industry in Hengzhou is also prospering as it is China's first rural Taobao innovation incubation center and has a three-tiered e-commerce network service system covering the county, town and village levels.
An official from Hengzhou said that the city will speed up the construction of becoming a regional sub-central city and continue to become the world's jasmine flower industrial center.
