Total import and export volume in the Guangxi Zhuang autonomous region accumulated to about 2.07 trillion yuan ($300 billion) during the 13th Five-Year Plan period (2016-20), growing at an average annual rate of 10.1 percent, said Yang Chunting, Party secretary of the Guangxi Department of Commerce, at a news conference on July 12.

Yang said that in 2020 the import and export volume of border trade for the whole region hit 140.86 billion yuan, of which 112.56 billion yuan came from small-volume trading.
