More than 10 million doses of COVID-19 vaccine had been administered in Guangxi Zhuang autonomous region as of 8:30 am on May 18.

Over 6.8 million people in the region have now received at least one dose of the COVID-19 vaccine, with more than 3 million of them finished receiving both doses.

The daily vaccination volume in the region now stands at over 750,000.

The region has set up 1,738 designated vaccine sites, including 106 large-scale vaccine sites that are open to the public and 313 outpatient injection sites opened by grade-two hospitals, based on China's three-tier grading system for public hospitals.

It has also dispatched 10 mobile vaccine teams to administer COVID-19 vaccinations all over the region.

After setting up 6,457 vaccine counters, the maximum daily vaccine capacity of the region is expected to reach 920,000.
