'A Date with China' discovers smart and green way of farming
"A Date with China" international media tour on Wednesday came to the Beautiful South National Rural Complex in Nanning, South China's Guangxi Zhuang autonomous region.
The Extraordinary Modern Agricultural Park in the complex is not just about agriculture, it's about doing it in a smarter and greener way, said China Daily's reporter Jocelyn Eikenburg, who got to taste the "delicious" cherry tomatoes at the agricultural base.
The complex has more than 40 square kilometers of cultivated land. Its intelligent glass greenhouse applies the Internet of Things control system for automatic control and remote control of the indoor ecological environment, thus achieving the intelligent management of various agricultural production sectors, such as planting management, scientific research, sales, and traceability of agricultural products, so as to achieve efficient production.
