Starting from March 25, Guangxi Zhuang autonomous region will open its free COVID-19 vaccination appointment service to the whole region, according to the region's COVID-19 pandemic prevention and control headquarters office.
Between December 2020, when people in key industries began receiving vaccinations, and March 24, Guangxi delivered a total of 3.8 million doses of vaccines, including 2.24 million first dose shots and 1.56 million second dose shots.
Those who can make appointments now include:
(1) Residents aged between 18 and 59.
(2) Elderly people aging 60 and above can get vaccinated after making an appointment and having their physical condition fully assessed.
Appointments can be made through the Health Commission of Guangxi Zhuang autonomous region "jkbg-gxhfpc" or Guangxi's disease control body "gxcdcwx" at WeChat public accounts, or in person at medical institutions.
