A delegation of 27 Guangxi members of the National Committee of the Chinese People's Political Consultative Conference (CPPCC) arrived in Beijing on March 2 to attend the fourth session of the 13th CPPCC National Committee.

Sun Dawei, chairman of the Guangxi Zhuang Autonomous Regional Committee of the CPPCC, pointed out that 2021 marks the centenary of the Communist Party of China. It is also the first year in China's implementation of the 14th Five-Year Plan (2021-25), and a year in which the country will embark on a new journey towards building a modern socialist country.

Sun urged members to shoulder their responsibilities and fulfill their duties during the annual session of China's top political advisory body.

Guangxi members have attached great importance to issues such as pandemic prevention and control, socio-economic development and rural revitalization.
