The 17th China-ASEAN Expo (CAEXPO) will set up additional exhibition areas to establish high-level professional platforms for matchmaking between companies in the Guangdong-Hong Kong-Macao Greater Bay Area and ASEAN markets, as well as for Guangxi to better undertake industrial transfer, the CAEXPO Secretariat announced on Nov 16.

Covering a total area of 2,000 square meters, the exhibition area for the Greater Bay Area will showcase high-quality products and the regional advantages in areas spanning high-end equipment manufacturing and modern services. Outcomes achieved in the spread, transfer, and mobilization of industries to nearby areas of the Greater Bay Area will also be displayed in the exhibition.

Currently, organizations and companies like Hong Kong Trade Development Council, Macao Trade and Investment Promotion Institute, and Guangxi-Hong Kong STC Company Limited have confirmed their attendance.

The other exhibition area will span 1,000 square meters and showcase investment cooperation projects invested in by State-owned companies, private companies, as well as companies from the Greater Bay Area in Guangxi.

It is expected that the communications and exchanges among State-owned, private, and Greater Bay Area companies will be further enhanced, while encouraging State-owned and private companies to take an active part in the construction of the Greater Bay Area.

Pertinent experiences achieved by the Greater Bay Area in socio-economic development and scientific progress will be shared in the cooperation between China and ASEAN to boost regional integrated economic development.

The 17th CAEXPO will take place in Nanning, Guangxi Zhuang autonomous region from Nov 27 to 30, with a variety of activities and exhibitions being held offline and online.
