Sanniang Bay Tourist Resort in Qinzhou, Guangxi Zhuang autonomous region is a national 4A-level tourist area combining natural and cultural landscapes. It is famous for its blue sea, beaches, stones, green forests, fishing villages, and tides. Most notably, it is also known as the hometown of Chinese white dolphins, a first-class protected animal in China.
The tourist resort is located in Qinzhou Bay in the southwest of Guangxi, facing the North Sea in the east, Beibu Bay in the south, and Fangchenggang Port in the west. It has an average annual temperature of 22 C, which means that the resort can be visited throughout the year.
The excellent water quality of Sanniang Bay makes it a high-quality natural fishing ground. It is not only rich in oysters, prawns, blue crabs, groupers, dolphins, and other marine mammals, but also a habitat for marine life like sea birds, sandworms, shells, and water crabs.
Tourists can take a speedboat to enjoy stunning seascape views and look for dolphins, go swimming in the ecological pool in the woods and the bathing beach that can accommodate nearly 50,000 people, as well as visit local fishing villages to experience activities like net fishing, sea fishing, oyster digging, and crab catching. Special performances and authentic local seafood are also available in the resort.
