The New International Land-Sea Trade Corridor is a major international transport passage launched by western Chinese provincial regions and Singapore in 2017 that also connects countries along the Belt and Road.

Since its official operation, Guangxi Zhuang autonomous region, a part of the trade corridor in western China that is connected to ASEAN countries by land and sea, has emerged in its role as an important hub and an international gateway for ASEAN.

The corridor has been gaining steam as its rail-to-sea routes offer a faster and cheaper freight transportation option between western China and other countries and regions.
