Founded on Sept 13, 2017 as the first of its kind in the Chinese mainland, Guangxi Cross-Strait Industrial Cooperation Zone is of great significance to promote the development of cross-Strait industrial cooperation, as well as economic and social integration. According to the overall plan of the cooperation zone, Guangxi will strengthen the in-depth cooperation of industries of Guangxi and Taiwan. It will seize opportunities that arise from its efforts in the construction of the Western Land-Sea Trade Corridor, Guangxi Free Trade Zone, the financial gateway to ASEAN, the China-ASEAN Information Harbor, and the Fangchenggang International Medical Opening-up Pilot Zone, as well as the unique geographical advantages of Guangxi and the ASEAN countries adjacent to the land and sea to focus on strengthening cooperation with Taiwan's industries, undertaking advanced technology and industrial transfer in Taiwan, as well as fostering innovative development of emerging industries and promoting the integrated development of modern service industries.
Guangxi also plans to set up cross-Strait labor service cooperation mechanisms, explore the establishment of green channels for cross-Strait labor service cooperation exclusively for Taiwan enterprises, improve policies and measures for serving high-level talents, as well as attract high-end talents from all over the country to start businesses in Guangxi.
In addition, Guangxi will continue to create a good business environment, as well as implement preferential policies to ensure that Taiwan compatriots and businessmen enjoy the same treatment in venture capital investment in the region.
