The "Spring Melody 2020" International Spring Festival Gala was recorded at Yongzhou Theatre in Nanning, Guangxi Zhuang autonomous region on Jan 12, offering people a visual feast with more than 30 programs, such as solo, dance, acrobatic, sketch, and poetry recitation performances.

The gala is jointly produced by Nanning Radio and TV Station with 21 media outlets and institutions in 13 countries and regions. Adhering to the purpose of hosting a party with mutual respect, equal exchanges, and deep integration of multiculturalism, it highlights the characteristics of the Spring Festival and ASEAN countries.

This year's event had set up sub-venues in ASEAN countries for the first time to strengthen exchanges of traditional culture and to create a more dazzling gala. It also invited children from Indonesia, Philippines, Thailand, New Zealand, Macao, China, as well as other countries and regions to experience traditional culture and customs in Nanning.

The "Spring Melody" International Spring Festival Gala has been held for 12 consecutive years since 2007. It is an important brand for foreign cultural exchange in Guangxi, possessing a certain influence and reputation in the world, especially in Southeast Asian countries.

The gala will premiere on Nanning Radio and TV Station on the evening of Jan 23, the day before the Lunar New Year's Eve. During the Spring Festival holiday, domestic and foreign cooperative media outlets will also broadcast it on their respective platforms.
