Guangxi has made efforts to transform ecological advantages into economic advantages, accelerating the development of green industries like ecological agriculture, forestry, and health, as well as strategic emerging industries like new energy vehicles, biomedicine, energy conservation, and environmental protection.

From January to November this year, the air quality in Guangxi was significantly better than the same period last year. The ratio of surface water of good or excellent quality was over 96 percent and the forest coverage rate reached 62.45 percent. Most of its ecological environmental quality indicators were better than the national average.

Relying on its abundant forest resources, Guangxi is vigorously cultivating economic forest areas, forest food, flowers and seedlings, as well as other emerging industries. It is also developing health industries based on its ecological advantages, actively promoting healthcare and pensions, tourism culture, as well as medical treatment.

In addition, Guangxi has focused on emerging industries like electronic information, energy conservation, and environmental protection. It is expected that the investment in Guangxi's electronic information industry will increase by more than 40 percent this year. Guangxi has also raised more than 1.1 billion yuan ($157.43 million) to support the development of the new energy vehicles industry.
