The launching ceremony of Ai Guangxi (Love Guangxi), the mobile app of Guangxi's public information service platform, was held in Nanning, Guangxi Zhuang autonomous region on Dec 12.

Ai Guangxi is a public service platform for government affairs and people's livelihood matters created by Digital Guangxi Group under the guidance of Guangxi Big Data Bureau. It strives to provide public services, support government decision-making and collaborative governance, as well as integrate social resources to achieve a new industrial model of sustainable development.

At present, Ai Guangxi has been fully linked to the government affairs integration platform of Guangxi, realizing the general processing of government affairs of the region, as well as 14 prefectures and cities. Services such as tax processing, provident fund deposits, degree inquiry, as well as the implementation of digital ID cards, motor vehicle driver's licenses, and social security e-cards can all be handled on mobile phones. Ai Guangxi also allows people to purchase medicine with the social security e-cards in more than 6,000 drug stores in the region.

In addition, Ai Guangxi is also introducing special promotions related to tourism in the region, with tickets discounts to Guangxi's famous attractions. Those who download the app have a chance to purchase tickets to scenic spots for one fen.

According to Jin Fang, executive president of  Digital Guangxi Group Co., Ltd, the company will accelerate the promotion of digital public services in Guangxi, explore the value of data resources, as well as build a new mainstream platform with strong influence and competitiveness for the region.

In the future, Ai Guangxi will accelerate the application of electronic licenses in Guangxi, improve the scope of subway and bus e-tickets use, increase the construction of service sectors like medical care, education, tourism, and transportation, as well as accelerate smart city construction.
