Guangxi Zhuang autonomous region launched its government service hotline 12345 on Nov 8 to provide people with public services, such as offering help and consultations, as well as receiving complaints, proposals, and tips.

Since September last year, Guangxi has begun preparations for the construction of the hotline. The hotline will provide various public services through its telephone, website, mobile client, and WeChat channels. The government aims to use the advantages of big data to optimize government public services and promote the modernization of governance capabilities.

The 12345 hotline, the non-emergency rescue service system, is used to help the public solve difficulties and problems encountered in life and work. It is a nationwide platform for Party committees and government branches to pay attention to people's livelihoods and listen to public opinion. The 12345 hotline of Guangxi has integrated 45 public service hotlines of enterprises and 44 hotline units directly under the autonomous region, providing unified external services.

As of Oct 1, the development, deployment, and installation of the platform have been completed, with the data being interconnected and shared with the Guangxi Digital Government Integration Platform. The hotline platform will provide services to 10 cities, including Liuzhou, Guigang, Hezhou, and Beihai.

In the future, Guangxi will operate the 12345 government service hotline based on optimizing its business environment and paying attention to the interests of the public. In addition, Guangxi will continue to promote the integration of various hotlines in the region.
