The 9th Guangxi Inventions Exhibition and Trade Fair will be held by the People's Government of Guangxi Zhuang Autonomous Region at Nanning International Convention and Exhibition Center from Nov 10 to 12.

This year's fair will display Guangxi's latest achievements in intellectual property rights (IPR), such as patents, trademarks, and geographical indications, highlighting the importance of intellectual property protection in creating a good business environment.

A total of 21 special theme exhibition areas and eight sections will be set up at this year's fair, taking over the 8,500-square meter exhibition hall. More than 700 enterprises and institutions will exhibit over 1,200 patents, trademarks, and geographical indications. High-tech projects in mechanical equipment, the invention and creation achievements of more than 20 research institutes, as well as the latest research results in the field of inspection and testing will also be on display.

In addition to the splendid exhibitions, the fair will have an intellectual property product sales area. The unique patents, trademarks, and geographical indication products from all cities and counties of Guangxi will be available.

The fair will build a platform for IPR display promotion, cooperation and exchanges, as well as pledge financing. A special matchmaking conference for advanced manufacturing patent technology investment and financing will be held, focusing on displaying and promoting five high-value patent technologies spanning smart manufacturing, the Internet of Things, and artificial intelligence. An IPR pledge financing bank-enterprise matchmaking meeting will be organized to help small and medium-sized enterprises realize market value by pledging financing through patent rights. 

In addition, an IPR cooperation forum of Guangxi and Guangdong-Hong Kong-Macao Greater Bay Area will be held, with representatives of institutions, experts and scholars, as well as business management personnel exploring cross-regional intellectual property cooperation mechanism innovations through keynote speeches, special reports, research discussions, and the sharing of practical experience.
