2019 Tour of Guangxi wraps up in Guilin

The 2019 Gree Tour of Guangxi ended on Oct 22, wrapping up its sixth stage in Guilin, Guangxi Zhuang autonomous region. A total of 126 participants from 18 top professional teams from around the world took part in the final competition of the UCI World Tour's annual championship.
After more than four hours of competition, Enric Mas from the German Deceuninck-Quick Step team claimed victory of the third Gree Tour of Guangxi.
On Oct 20, Mas took the lead in the tour's Nanning-Nongla stage, laying the foundation for his championship. In the Guilin stage, Mas competed well and maintained his previous advantage to the end, finally winning the most eye-catching prize – the red jersey worn by the cyclist with the highest individual total score. In addition, he also won the white jersey awarded to the best young cyclist.
This year's competition was praised by the participating cyclists and officials of the UCI, especially the two Nanning stages. The good event organization, enthusiastic audience, and unique city views have left a deep impression on them.
