The six-day Men's World Tour on Oct 17-22 begins in Beihai, passing through Qinzhou, Nanning, Nongla Scenic Area, and Liuzhou, winding up in Guilin. The Women's World Tour will held in Guilin on Oct 22.
The total length of the first stage in Beihai is 138.6 kilometers, with Beihai Expo Garden serving as both the start and the end of the course. Cyclists will be able to enjoy the beautiful coastal scenery of the city during their ride.
As China's only road bike world tour approved by the UCI, the Tour of Guangxi not only showcases the magnificent scenery of Guangxi, but also promotes the development of cycling. In addition, media coverage of the event at home and abroad has attracted great attention from all over the world, which has bolstered Guangxi's visibility and reputation.
"The Tour of Guangxi is a high level competition, and all participants are top teams registered in the UCI that have stood out in domestic cycling sports events. It is a great brand new calling card of Guangxi," said Zhang Lihao, a cycling enthusiast.
