The 5th International Food Culture Exhibition will be held in Wayao town, Guilin, Guangxi Zhuang autonomous region from Oct 17-27 to display the rich and colorful food culture from all over the world.

Sponsored by the Guilin International Landscape Culture & Tourism Festival Organizing Committee, the exhibition will feature more than 300 booths in the 15,000-square meter venue. Nearly 600 food varieties will be divided into three sections: an international food exhibition area, a domestic food exhibition area, and a tourist commodity exhibition area.

All 10 ASEAN countries will attend and set up theme pavilions at the international food exhibition area, fully demonstrating their unique food culture. Domestic cuisine will be present along the food street with Chinese characteristics, showcasing the variety of foods and the long-standing food culture of China, including popular dishes likes Beijing Roast Duck, Wuhan Hot-dry Noodle, and Xi'an Roujiamo (Chinese hamburger). The biggest feature is the yak feast, which has been listed as an intangible cultural heritage.

Wayao town is a distinctive cultural attraction that relies on traditional industries, such as root carving, jewelry, and calligraphy, to display Guilin wood art, handicrafts, and the history of Guizhou kilns.
