After 15-days of competition, the 2019 China-ASEAN International Touring Assembly (CAITA) and the China-ASEAN Journalist Rally in Johor Bahru, Malaysia came to an end on Sept 25.

Racing teams departed from Nanning on Sept 11 and travelled nearly 5,000 kilometers through Vietnam, Laos, Thailand, and Malaysia before finishing in Singapore on Sept 28. The slogan for the event was "promoting the development of the Land-Sea Trade Corridor and serving the development of the Belt and Road".

Founded in 2006, CAITA aims to promote cooperation between China and ASEAN countries in sports, culture, economics, and tourism, and has proved popular among motor sports organizations and drivers.

A number of additional tourism and cultural events were also held during the competition.
