CAEXPO agriculture exhibition come to a close
The China-ASEAN Expo Agriculture Exhibition wrapped up on Sept 24, with both exhibitors and consumers expressing satisfaction at the event.
More than 330 types of agricultural products were displayed at the exhibition area of the Guangxi Agriculture and Rural Affairs Department, all of which were selected from "Superior Agri-Products from Guangxi", a catalogue of Guangxi's agricultural brands and unique agricultural products.
"Superior Agri-Products from Guangxi" aims to promote Guangxi's agricultural brands. So far, Guangxi has selected 46 public agricultural brands, 47 agricultural brands of private enterprises, and 106 agricultural product brands.
Exhibitors at this year's agricultural exhibition are focusing on green, ecological, organic, selenium-rich, and traceable products. Every product on display has a traceable QR code so that customers can find out where the product came from.
The benefits of e-commerce for both buyers and sellers is also a focal point of the exhibition. A Nanning e-commerce platform offering comprehensive agricultural services has been participating in agricultural exhibitions for the past three years and displaying its high-quality agricultural products. Huang Shaofei, the leader of the platform, said that the platform not only helps poor villages sell their products, but also helps them build up agricultural brands.
