The China-ASEAN Financial Service Platform was launched online in Nanning, Guangxi Zhuang autonomous region on Sept 9 to integrate financial data and information resources of ASEAN countries, as well as to create a financial information service platform with strong China-ASEAN characteristics.

Constructed by the China Economic Information Service, the Local Financial Supervision Bureau of Guangxi Zhuang Autonomous Region, the Big Data Development Bureau, and the Nanning municipal government, it is a comprehensive service platform for governments, enterprises, and institutions.

The database of the financial service platform contains the information database and the service terminal. It is a global database of China and ASEAN countries, with a collection of news information, major financial markets and macro data, research reports, as well as policy laws and regulations. It boasts a wide coverage and can provide information for financial industry practitioners, government decision support departments, and academic research.

The macro database covers macroeconomic data of 28 major official institutions of 10 ASEAN countries, as well as ASEAN countries from 31 authoritative international organizations, industrial and commercial associations, as well as large energy companies. It contains data related to national economic accounting, inflation, balance of payments, population, employment and wages, finance, industry, interest rates, finance, foreign trade, as well as foreign investment.

The foreign exchange database, the commodity database, and the research report database are also available to meet the needs of different users.

The China-ASEAN Financial Service Terminal, based on the China-ASEAN financial database, enables users to browse and obtain relevant economic, financial, and legal information.
