The Guangxi Economic and Social Development Achievement Exhibition celebrating the 70th anniversary of the founding of the People's Republic of China was held in a press conference hall of the State Council on Sept 2. The exhibition is divided into three areas, spanning socio-economic development achievements, intangible cultural heritages, and Guangxi tea.

The socio-economic development achievements exhibition area showcased the great achievements of Guangxi's development in the 70 years since the founding of PRC through a combination of pictures, words, objects, and models. It displayed: revolutionary history events and characters; the achievements of Guangxi's comprehensive economic strength, industrial development, and infrastructure construction, as well as Reform and Opening up and poverty alleviation efforts, as well as its impacts on the autonomous region's excellent ecological environment and ethnic unity.
