The China-ASEAN Expo (CAEXPO) issued its first blue book, Development Report of ASEAN Industrial Parks under the Background of China-ASEAN International Capacity Cooperation (2019), to offer practical information for enterprises to carry out international capacity cooperation.

The bilateral trade volume between China and ASEAN countries has enjoyed sustained growth in recent years, and China has remained ASEAN's largest trading partner for 10 consecutive years. Fifteen sessions of CAEXPO and the China-ASEAN Business and Investment Summit have been held. As of the end of 2018, the bilateral cumulative investment amounted to $205.71 billion, and the investment stock has increased 22 times in 15 years.

The CAEXPO Secretariat said that Chinese companies have greater demand for international capacity cooperation and investment in ASEAN industrial parks. The blue book aims to offer information on ASEAN countries' industrial policies and investment environment, as well as policy interpretation and risk analysis, thus providing credible information support for enterprises to invest in ASEAN industrial parks and participate in China-ASEAN international capacity cooperation.

In addition, the blue book also introduces special activities to enterprises, such as the ASEAN Industrial Park Investment Promotion Conference and the Chinese Economic and Commercial Counselors in ASEAN countries, providing platform support for enterprises to "go out" and invest abroad.
