Niuwan Logistics Park, which is invested by Guangxi Beibu Gulf Investment Group, began construction in Yongning district, Nanning, Guangxi Zhuang autonomous region on Aug 6.

It is a smart logistics park integrating commodity trading, warehousing and distribution, as well as supply chain financial services. The total planned land for the first phase is about 735 mu (49 hectares), with a total investment of about 1.8 billion yuan ($255.85 million).

The first phase of the logistics park covers a planned construction area of about 130,000 square meters with a total investment of 521 million yuan for infrastructure construction. It plans to be a high standard warehousing park of e-commerce, express delivery, and fast-selling, as well as possess supply chain service centers by the end of 2020.

The park will introduce the joint operation and management of domestic advanced logistics enterprises, attracting the advanced logistics enterprises of the Guangdong-Hong Kong-Macao Greater Bay Area and ASEAN countries. Once it begins operation, it is estimated that its annual output value will reach six billion yuan, and that it will be a cargo distribution center and trade circulation hub linking Guangxi with the Greater Bay Area and ASEAN.

Guangxi Beibu Gulf Investment Group and the Guangxi government also held a symposium with logistics enterprises of the Greater Bay Area, and signed cooperation framework agreements on projects in fields such as the supply chain ecological new city, high-end smart logistics parks, business hubs, supply chain finance, and big data.
