The Secretariat of the China-ASEAN Expo (CAEXPO) and the Employers of Poland signed a memorandum of understanding and cooperation in Nanning, Guangxi Zhuang autonomous region on July 27, confirming Poland as the invited partner of the 16th CAEXPO.
Founded in 1989, the Employers of Poland is the oldest and the largest organization of employers in Poland, associated with 19,000 companies with more than 5 million employees. Employers of Poland represents both individual companies, as well as regional or sectorial organizations.
Since its establishment 15 years ago, CAEXPO has achieved remarkable economic and trade results with support from important domestic and foreign business associations. With the participation of Employers of Poland, the total number of support associations has increased to 46. Among them, Poland, as the only one from Europe, is particularly eye-catching and meaningful.
Wang Lei, secretary general of the CAEXPO Secretariat, said that CAEXPO will better integrate Polish enterprises into the Belt and Road construction, open up Chinese and ASEAN markets, as well as find investment partners to provide platforms and opportunities.
Andrzej Malinowski, chairman of Employers of Poland, expressed hope that his visit will lead to more cooperation opportunities for Polish and Chinese companies, as well as promote economic and trade exchanges and cooperation between the two countries. Employers of Poland will promote CAEXPO to more Polish companies and investors in the future.
The 16th CAEXPO will open on Sept 20 in Nanning, and Poland will be the first country from Europe as the special guest. Employers of Poland will organize a delegation to participate in a series of economic and trade investment promotion activities of the 16th CAEXPO.
