Youth automobile industry competition starts in Liuzhou

China Youth Automotive Industry Innovation and Entrepreneurship Competition was launched in Liuzhou, Guangxi Zhuang autonomous region, on July 22 to collect together the automotive industry's most innovative projects from all over the country.
The competition was hosted by the Liuzhou municipal people's government under the guidance of the China Foundation for Youth Entrepreneurship and Employment.
Focusing on innovation and entrepreneurship in the automotive industry, the competition aims to discover and cultivate a number of outstanding innovation and entrepreneurship enterprises, talents and projects in the automotive industry, and build a platform for displaying exchange, resource agglomeration, investment and financing docking.
The registration time for the competition is from July 22 to Aug 21. The contestants will include college students, practitioners in the automotive industry, and individuals or groups interested in innovation and entrepreneurship in the industry. All innovative and entrepreneurial projects in fields related to the the automotive industry featuring electrification, intelligence, network connection and sharing, can join the contests, opening it up to those working in automobiles, parts, production lines and equipment, automotive peripheral products, automobile finance, car sales and more.
In addition, professional lectures, talent exchange roundtables, industry inspections, and the listing of innovation and entrepreneurship incubators in China's youth auto industry will also be held.

China Foundation for Youth Entrepreneurship and Employment also signed a strategic agreement with Liuzhou government for further cooperation, including the holding of China Youth Automotive Industry Innovation and Entrepreneurship Competition and setting up the Innovation and Entrepreneurship Base of China's Youth Auto Industry in Liuzhou.

According to Wang Wei, deputy mayor of Liuzhou, Liuzhou is one of the five major automobile cities in China. Liuzhou's automobile production has accumulated more than 23 million vehicles, accounting for about 9 percent of the country's total automobile production. It has more than 260 car parts and components manufacturers and more than 500 companies related to the auto industry.
The competition will bring together the innovative resources of the national automobile industry and promote the transformation, upgrading and sustainable development of the Liuzhou automobile industry.
