A policy briefing for foreigners working in Guangxi was held in Nanning, Guangxi Zhuang autonomous region to help more than 30 foreign experts from countries such as America, Cambodia, and India adapt to the working and living environment in Guangxi.

The policy briefing was organized by the Foreign Experts Bureau of Guangxi Science and Technology Department, Guangxi Nanning Shuangchuang Technology Co, and the College of ASEAN Studies of Guangxi University for Nationalities.

A leader of the Foreigner Management Detachment of the Guangxi Public Security Bureau's Exit and Entry Administration explained the residence policy for foreigners working in Guangxi in detail, as well as the types of foreigners' visas, related laws, and regulations.

He stressed that foreigners working in Guangxi shall, in accordance with the regulations, accept relevant inquiries from the exit and entry management agencies of the public security bureau, as well as obtain work permits and work residence certificates in time. He also gave a detailed introduction to the conditions, procedures, and precautions for applying for a permanent residence permit for foreigners, as well as reminded foreigners working in Guangxi to pay attention to the validity of their visa and to leave or renew in time.

A leader of the Nanning science and technology bureau introduced the Nanning Overseas Talents Innovation and Entrepreneurship Competition and Nanning's innovation and entrepreneurship policy to foreign experts. They encouraged foreign experts to participate actively and combine their professional skills with the location and market advantages of Nanning to realize their personal career development.

In order to help foreigners understand Guangxi, as well as create a good working and living environment, the Guangxi Foreign Experts Bureau has organized various activities since 2017, such as cultural experience and consultation platform construction, to enhance their understanding of Guangxi's talent policy and talent environment, as well as to create a good working and living environment.
