According to the Department of Commerce of Guangxi Zhuang Autonomous Region, the 2019 Guangxi Commodity Fair will be held at Nanning International Convention and Exhibition Center from July 26 to 28. 

Co-sponsored by the Guangxi Department of Commerce and the Guangxi Department of Agricultural and Rural Affairs, the event will be undertaken by Guangxi International Expo Group to expand the market of Guangxi specialty products, promote the upgrading of production, marketing, and consumption, as well as help poverty alleviation efforts.

The fair will cover an exhibition area of about 18,000 square meters, attracting more than 600 enterprises of agricultural products, deep-processed foods, specialty crafts, and frozen aquatic products. More than 1,500 kinds of famous products from Guangxi will be featured.

The fair will establish a production and sales platform through on-site promotion, purchase instructions, and order negotiations. It will promote the effective docking of production and sales, as well as promote long-term and stable cooperative relationships between Guangxi agricultural specialties and major agricultural product distributors across the country, further developing Guangxi's high-quality agricultural products to the whole country.

Xu Jin, deputy director of the Department of Commerce of Guangxi Zhuang Autonomous Region, expressed hope that the fair will cultivate a number of Guangxi enterprises brands and product brands, as well as enhance the popularity and influence of local products such as Guangxi tea, Guangxi fruits, and Guangxi wine.
