The 2019 China (Guangxi)-ASEAN New Varieties of Vegetables Expo is currently underway in Nanning, Guangxi Zhuang autonomous region, running until June 10.

The expo is organized by the Department of Agriculture and Rural Affairs of Guangxi Zhuang Autonomous Region and the China-ASEAN Expo Secretariat, forming part of the investment promotion events under the 16th China-ASEAN Expo.

More than 1,000 varieties of agricultural products are on display at the five exhibition zones related to gourd vegetables, solanaceous vegetables, beans, peppers, and corn. Vietnam, Thailand, Cambodia, and Myanmar have sent 44 varieties of vegetables to be exhibited in the fields.

In addition to the exhibitions, agricultural achievement promotions and business negotiations are also on tap for the expo.
