Nanning Wuxu International Airport has recently launched a new air route to Huai'an in Jiangsu province and Changchun in Jilin province, further boosting the connectivity between South, East, and Northeast China.

The flights QW6007/8 are operated by Qingdao Airlines and are scheduled daily. One departs from Changchun at 7:50 am and arrives in Huai'an at 10:00 am. It takes off again after a five-minute stopover and lands in Nanning at 1:45 pm.

The other leaves Nanning at 2:35 pm, and stops over in Huai'an from 5:20 pm to 6:10 pm. It reaches Changchun at 8:15 pm.

Huai'an, sitting in the junction of the ancient Huaihe River and Jing-Hang Grand Canal, has a history of more than 2,200 years. It is not only home to the fourth largest freshwater lake in China, Hongze Lake, but is also the hometown of the first Premier of the People's Republic of China, Zhou Enlai.

Changchun, known as Oriental Detroit, is one of the earliest automotive manufacturing and film production bases in the country. Apart from its industrial elements, it is one of four "National Garden Cities" awarded by the Ministry of Construction in 2001 due to its supreme ecological environment.
