The General Office of the People's Government of Guangxi Zhuang Autonomous Region has announced that the office hours of government institutions across the region will be adjusted to 8 am to noon and 3 pm to 6 pm starting from May.

At present, Guangxi government bodies use two different timetables for summer and winter. The office hours are 8 am to noon and 3 pm to 6 pm from May 1 to Oct 31, and shift to 8 am to noon and 2:30 to 5:30 pm from Nov 1 to April 30.
