Liuzhou in South China's Guangxi Zhuang autonomous region will continue to promote the cultivation and introduction of innovative and talented personnel with incentive policies to entice human talent to support the city's modernization.

Liuzhou, a heavy industry city, has approved a number of measures to attract talent, especially high-level talent and urgently needed personnel, since 2018. This year, the city will continue to publish new preferable policies to attract talent to enrich the talent pool of Liuzhou.

Over the past nine years, more than 120 PhD and master graduates have been invited to the city every year to make an on-the-spot investigation of the city's environment for employment and entrepreneurship. Liuzhou has set up a talent training mechanism to offer opportunities to young and middle-aged talent to go abroad for further study.

It launched the Double Hundred Talent Program to engage 87 domestic and foreign experts and scholars in the past six years to hold the post of the city's development consultant, and has also attracted some 500 high-level talents to conduct scientific research and give lectures. More than 50 academicians and specialists have come to the city and provided guidance to its industrial development.

Liuzhou will also release detailed rules for the implementation of its new talent policy published in 2018. The city plans to fulfill the talent awarding and subsidy policy from April 1, and issue a variety of regulations and measures to promote the implementation of its new talent policy.
