GX Airlines opened a direct flight between Nanning of Guangxi Zhuang autonomous region, and Bangkok of Thailand, on Jan 23.

Serviced by an Airbus A320, the GX8907/8 flight is available every day. It departs from Nanning Wuxu International Airport at 7 pm Beijing Time and arrives in Suvarnabhumi International Airport at 8:25 pm local time. The return flight departs at 9:25 pm local time and arrives in Nanning at 00:50 pm Beijing Time.

The flight is expected to facilitate business, travel and cultural exchanges between the two regions and expand GX Airlines' presence in Southeast Asia.

The company currently offers 56 domestic and international flights to 55 cities. It plans to launch more direct flights to Hanoi, Vietnam, Jakarta, and Manila within the next two years.
