Macao students volunteer to teach in remote Guangxi village

A group of 18 students from Macao high schools and universities recently spent one week in Wuying Miao village as volunteer teachers.

The village, which straddles both Guizhou province and Guangxi Zhuang autonomous region, is located deep in Damiao Mountain. It has more than 600 residents in 140 households, of which 79 are poverty stricken.

The local teaching spot has 18 Guangxi students and nine Guizhou students. They received various courses related to drawing, acting, science and sports from the volunteers to help them enjoy school life and broaden their horizons.
