Guilin's first Avant-garde League Workstation opened in Jiuhua Community in Diecai district on Dec 21, giving a boost to the development of comprehensive Party regulations and systems within the city.

Jiuhua Community covers an area of about 1.2 square kilometers and has a population of 7,165 people. Its general Party branch consists of 343 Party members divided into six branches and nine groups.

The workstation, a part of the city's Party development, will strive to benefit the people. Leading Party members are expected to play an exemplary role in the process, said Tang Xiuxuan, Party secretary of the district, at the launch ceremony.

Peng Dongguang, a member of the Standing Committee of the CPC Guilin Municipal Committee, hailed the establishment of the workstation as a substantial step toward the institutionalization and standardization of Party development under the city's three-year action plan of improving Party governance at the grassroots level.
