Beiliu develops tourism industry
Beiliu city, located in Guangxi Zhuang autonomous region, is China's largest export base for daily-use ceramics and known as the country's "Ceramic Capital".
Nowadays, Beiliu has actively adjusted its industrial structure to vigorously cultivate and develop a new green pillar industry led by tourism, and aims to build a strong tourism city in Guangxi. The integration of tourism resources has effectively promoted the rapid development of the city's tourism industry.

From January to September this year, the city received 5.58 million tourists, an increase of 33.8 percent; the total tourism revenue hit 6.78 billion yuan ($992.05 million), an increase of 38.5 percent.
The city currently has more than 60 mountain peaks, caves, water landscapes, rural tourist areas and farmhouses, as well as eight ancient cultural sites. The national 4A-level scenic area Darongshan Tourist Resort and Tongshiling Scenic Spot are the leading attractions in Beiliu. The Darongshan Tourism Resort was named autonomous region-level tourist resort last year and has applied to become a national-level tourist resort this year.

According to the development plan, Beiliu tourism industry will gradually build six unique tourism brands with unique local characteristics: ancient maritime silk road culture, natural landscape culture, historical culture, ceramic culture, red culture and Lingnan farming culture.
