In order to improve the quality of education and teaching, Liuzhou comprehensively carried out school management standardization work, promoting the management level of county and township schools. In 2015-2017, a total of 202 educational and teaching reform achievements occurred.

Using group-run schools, school alliances, and pairing assistance, Liuzhou has promoted the full coverage of the compulsory education system management reform since 2015.

More than 200 schools (including teaching points) in over 20 townships have realized the synchronous interactive teaching of informatization.

At present, there are 1,319 schools of various types and at all levels in Liuzhou and 414,400 students in nine-year compulsory education. The consolidation rate of nine-year compulsory education has reached 97 percent.
