Guangxi's hi-tech products shine at 20th CHTF

A delegation led by the Science and Technology Department of Guangxi Zhuang autonomous region took part in the 20th China Hi-Tech Fair (CHTF 2018), which commenced with the grand opening in Shenzhen on Nov 14.
Running under the theme of a "new development concept for high quality growth", the five day event features more than 1,000 new products and technologies making their public debut. Guangxi government paid a lot of attention to the event, aiming to advocate scientific and technological innovation, cooperation and exchanges.

A total of 37 innovative projects from 35 new high-tech enterprises, colleges, universities and scientific research institutions made their debut at the fair, including new materials, artificial intelligence, electronic techniques, energy conservation and environment protection, as well as new-energy vehicles, all of which highlight Guangxi's innovation achievements in high-tech areas over the past few years.
Cao Kunhua, head of the delegation, spoke highly of the exhibits, saying that scientific research institutions should speed up the transformation of scientific and technological achievements, and realize the industrialization of high-tech products in order to support the high-quality development of Guangxi.

According to an official in charge of the Guangxi Science and Technology Department, the region is expected to promote characteristic industries with the help of the 20th CHTF, aiming to attract more investment and give a big push to the high-tech industries in Guangxi.
