Lingshan county in South China's Guangxi Zhuang autonomous region has made great efforts to promote its business by vigorously attracting investment.

It strives to create a business-friendly atmosphere and spares no efforts in turning itself into a good place for investment, highlighting its many opportunities, low costs and fast returns.

Attracting industrial clusters by industrial chain investment is a significant achievement of Lingshan's investment promotion in recent years.

On July 16 this year, the county signed a major project with Lingshan Animation and Toy Town for a total investment of 4.2 billion yuan ($603.5 million).

The project will introduce the animation toy industry chain, including a manufacturing base for intelligent toys, a toy exhibition and trading center, a toy high-tech park, a toy public service center and a toy technology education base, as well as a makers space, a cultural creativity block featuring European-style handwork and a research, design and authorization center.

The project was invested by Hong Kong Dikadou Toys Co. The company's chairman Huang Qiufeng said that the project will integrate industry, culture and tourism to form a unique industrial cluster.

Lingang Industrial Park in Luwu town has a total planned area of 1,000 mu (66.67 hectares). It was constructed by local government, who financed the project with 750 million yuan.

More than 50 mechanical and electrical enterprises have settled in the park and started production with a total investment of more than 1 billion yuan. The number of settled enterprises is still increasing and is expected to exceed 100.

"Enterprises that have settled in the park all have a strong connection. The upstream and downstream of the industry chain have gradually formed a seamless connection featuring production, assembly and packaging. In the future, the whole business can be completed in the park," said Liu Changqin, chairman of Kaijiali Motor Co, a company in the park.

There is also a sanitary industry chain in the park covering 30 upstream and downstream enterprises in the industry, with an investment of 700 million yuan.

In recent years, Lingshan county has taken investment promotion as a kinetic energy to expand effective investment, promote economic transformation and optimize economic structure.

Zeng Zhi, secretary of the county's Party committee, said that Lingshan county will continue to build Luwu into a national characteristic electromechanical town, attract investment in the three major industries of electromechanics, sanitation and electroplating, gradually forming a new development pattern of "introducing one enterprise, bringing a number of projects and gathering into one industry."

"Industry chain investment requires major planning and services, as well as a large number of supporting measures," said Liu Qin, magistrate of Lingshan county.
