The Liangfengjiang national forest park in the southwest of Nanning was the earliest national-level forest park approved by the former Ministry of Forestry.

It was elected as one of the top 10 scenic areas in Nanning and a national center for science publicity and education.

The park is 15 kilometers away from Nanning Wuxu International Airport. 

It boasts advantageous natural scenery, comprising of a cultural garden, a plant garden and an entertainment area. The cultural garden is home to Tianning Temple of the Guangxi Buddhist Association. A mountain villa in the garden offers board and lodging, a meeting hall and other facilities.

More than 1,700 trees grow in the plant garden which is a big plant species garden in South China.

Tourists are welcome to drive karts and bumper cars in the entertainment area. The area also provides a center for youth-focused national defense education.
