As a frontier in China-ASEAN open cooperation, the Guangxi Women's Federation has turned women-to-women exchanges into a vibrant bridge of partnership with ASEAN. Since the inaugural China-ASEAN Forum on Women's Development and Cooperation commenced in 2006, the platform has facilitated a total of 87 cross-border cooperation projects.
The Guangxi Women's Federation has conducted systematic training on cross-border operations and AI applications, cultivating more than 50 bilingual female live-streamers. The base's cross-border transaction volume exceeded one billion yuan ($139 million) in 2024, and the export value of intangible cultural heritage derivatives increased by one hundred twenty percent year-on-year.
Female entrepreneur Huang Cuilin founded Thai Viet China Transport (Guangxi) Joint Stock Company, engaging in Sino-Vietnamese cross-border logistics and trade with annual sales surpassing 30 million yuan. Thai entrepreneur Chen Meini, having started from a single Thai restaurant, now manages three foreign trade companies.
