Colorful 'pohui' festival enlivens rural Guangxi

Around the Spring Festival every year, the "pohui" festival comes alive inthe towns and villages of Rongshui Miao autonomous county, Liuzhou city, South China's Guangxi Zhuang autonomous region.

This lively folk celebration is a time for local residents to pray for goodfortune, strengthen friendships, and enjoy festive entertainment.

People from nearby villages gather in their finest traditional attire, joining in on theenergetic festive activities. Besides locals, many other visitors, drawn by itsreputation, also flock to the festival to experience this colorful tradition.
