A group of trainees from Vietnam and Laos has started an automotive technology training program that utilizes AI-based learning technologies in Liuzhou, Guangxi.
The initiative aims to share Guangxi's advanced automotive expertise, supporting the two Southeast Asian countries in developing their local auto industries.
The training focuses on key areas like new energy vehicle (NEV) maintenance, smart manufacturing processes, and auto parts inspection. Trainees gain practical experience at Liuzhou's top auto factories and training centers, where they learn hands-on skills from industry professionals.
"We're impressed by Liuzhou's NEV development," said a Vietnamese trainee. "This training helps us master skills that can be applied directly in our home country’s auto workshops." A Laotian participant also noted the program's value in bridging technical gaps between Laos and China.
Liuzhou, a key auto hub in South China, is recognized for its NEV innovation. This training program supports Guangxi’s efforts to strengthen regional cooperation through technology sharing with neighboring countries.
Moving forward, Guangxi plans to roll out more such training programs. These efforts will not only enhance technical skills in Vietnam and Laos but also foster closer economic and industrial cooperation across the Greater Mekong Subregion.
