Representatives from various caring enterprises in Xixiang sub-district, Bao'an district, Shenzhen, recently undertook an official visit to Beijing town, Dahua Yao autonomous county, Guangxi.

The purpose of this visit was to solidify and enhance paired assistance initiatives dedicated to fostering rural revitalization. Through this partnership, efforts will focus on providing targeted funding and implementing strategic projects.

The team inspected Jiangdong village's ecological fishery project and Pingji Wharf, then held a symposium at the town's Rural Vitalization College to review Guangdong-Guangxi cooperation results and discuss future plans.

Enterprise representatives and officials from Beijing jointly agreed to support a local agricultural company in establishing the "Shenzhen Farm" brand. They will also assist in obtaining Shenzhen certification, thereby streamlining the entry of fishery products into the Greater Bay Area.

In accordance with provincial cooperation agreements, Bao'an and Dahua are committed to collaborating through the "I Have a Garden in Guangxi' initiative, directing social funds to community and agricultural projects to boost consumption and improve low-income households' livelihoods.Plans include a 1.5 million yuan ($208,000) investment from Guangxi-Guangdong funds to upgrade a local fish ball factory, creating 50 jobs, benefiting over 150 households, and adding 75,000 yuan annually to Nase community's income.

Since the "Xixiang-Beijiang" model began, Xixiang has invested 2.79 million yuan in 23 projects, benefiting over 9,000 residents. The garden initiative raised 309,000 yuan for 69 households, while Pingji Wharf now ships over 10,000 catties of river fish daily to Guizhou, Sichuan and Chongqing, boosting local trade.
