Nandan pushes for high-quality, comprehensive tourism development

Since last year, Nandan county in Hechi has been focusing on creating a national demonstration area for comprehensive tourism by leveraging its local resources.

The county has implemented strategies to strengthen scenic area development, enhance tourism promotion, and drive the integration of tourism with other fields, showcasing the potential and high-quality development of the Nandan tourism industry.

The county was expected to receive 8.13 million visitors in 2024, generating tourism revenue of 84.9 billion yuan ($11.7 billion), increasing visitor numbers and revenue by over 30 percent year-on-year.

Additionally, the county has set up various activities, such as music festivals and folk custom events, contributing to the county's tourism appeal. Through such efforts, Nandan's tourism is experiencing enhanced supply, attraction, and influence, injecting new vitality into the county's comprehensive tourism development.
