Hechi flower market sees increasing sales before Spring Festival

The flower market in Hechi has been bustling with vibrant colors and fragrant scents with the approach of Spring Festival, as buying festive flowers has become a popular tradition among many locals.

Amidst the colorful flowers, orchids, especially butterfly orchids, stand out as the market's star product. Almost all vendors are selling various species and sizes of the flower at varying prices. 

Chen Fang, a flower vendor, said that butterfly orchids, with their long flowering period, vibrant colors, graceful posture, and auspicious meaning, have always been the most popular flower at the market during the Spring Festival holiday. 

He has recently stocked up on butterfly orchids at his store, decorating them with Chinese knots, small lanterns, and blessing cards, which have significantly boosted sales.
