Hechi ranks 3rd in Guangxi with 98.9% excellent air quality rate in H1

In the first half of the year, Hechi's air quality was recorded for 182 days, with 180 days classified as excellent or good, a rate of 98.9 percent. This ties Hechi for third in the Guangxi Zhuang autonomous region, alongside Chongzuo.

The average concentration of fine particulate matter (PM2.5) in the city was 23.59 micrograms per cubic meter, while the environmental air quality in the urban areas of other 10 counties and districts has consistently met the national Grade II standard.

During the 2024 Spring Festival, Jingchengjiang district did not experience any polluted weather, while the city's other 10 counties and districts did not encounter severely polluted weather.

This marks a significant improvement compared to the 2023 Spring Festival, when Jingchengjiang district experienced one day of mild pollution, and the other 10 counties and districts saw three days of severe pollution or worse.
